The Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management, UiTM Penang Branch, was appointed as the catering provider for the VIP dining area during the Penang International Halal Expo (PIHEX) 2024, held at Gravitas Business Park, Perai, on 7 December 2024. The opening ceremony was officiated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, and was also attended by the Rector of UiTM Penang Branch, YBhg. Prof. Dato’ Ir. Dr. Haji Ahmad Rashidy bin Razali.
